Thick soled shoes have taken over the market in previous years, making there limited options for getting a close-to-the-ground running sensation. Happened to see a review on HFS II raving about the outstanding longevity, prompting me to give this pair a try. While my 20km mileage can’t speak much about about the durability yet, it certainly gives me the barefoot running sensation as expected - flexi soles that allow freedom to the feet with structure that gives certain sturdiness to the upper. The sole is reasonably thin, like New Balance MT-10 (one of my favourites in the past). Traction is superb and I would love to test it on trail later.
